It is with great sadness that we have to announce, that our Chairman, Bryan J. Baldwin OBE passed away recently. We would like to pass on our sincere condolences to his wife Orin & all other family members.




Bryan served as the Chairman of Global Investments (Far East) Limited since 1996. He was also a great supporter of the British community in Thailand. He was an Honorary Member of the British Chamber of Commerce Thailand (BCCT) and served as Chairman from 1992 - 1996.




Bryan achieved many things in life and was chairman of many societies and associations. His biggest achievement was being awarded the OBE in December 1993 for "Services to British Commercial Interests in Thailand". A memorable day at Buckingham Palace for the family.




Bryan loved Thailand and became a Thai citizen in the year 2000. He always enjoyed his life here, in the company of his wife, family, friends and colleagues.




In his spare time, Bryan enjoyed 'swinging his clubs' and he and Orin had regular competitions (but to Bryan's dismay Orin nearly always won!). He also loved literature and could quote from many authors including Chaucer, Shakespeare and Dylan Thomas.




His final accolade was to receive the honour of the Royal Flame at his cremation ceremony granted by the King of Thailand.
