Dr. Thomas Faolán Augustin Earlie/Chairman
Tom is an Irish citizen, speaks fluent English, French and Irish with a
working knowledge of Arabic.
He has had an illustrious career in public service with the European
commission and the European parliament in Brussels.
Some of the posts Tom has held include Secretary General of the European
Democratic Alliance at the European Parliament and Director of the European
Parliament. Tom has also served as the first E U Representative
Ambassador in Vietnam.
Tom is also an adviser to the Board of Hansa LuftBild and has recently
become Director of TMT International, the French group responsible for
Telemedicine. He was honoured in 1995 with the Officer's Cross of
the Republic of Austria.
Over the years, he has worked with many world leaders and senior officials such
as Jacques Chirac, Lord Henry Plumb and Albert Reynolds.
